How to deal with fire in steel cage winding machine

1. The welding and cutting operation site of the steel cage winding machine is equipped with corresponding fire extinguishers, water and yellow sand and other fire-fighting equipment.

2. If the acetylene pipe leaks and causes the hose to catch fire, close each valve, extinguish the flame of the welding torch, and use a damp cloth, asbestos cloth, etc. to extinguish the combustion gas.

3. When the mouth of the acetylene gas bottle catches fire, wear leather gloves or use a damp cloth to close the bottle valve to stop the outflow of gas.

4. Carbon dioxide or dry powder fire extinguisher can be used for acetylene gas combustion; carbon dioxide foam or dry powder fire extinguisher can be used for acetone combustion; when a fire occurs in the acetylene gas cylinder warehouse or a nearby fire threatens the gas cylinder warehouse, protective measures should be taken. Move the bottle to an appropriate location.

5. In case of fire of general combustibles, use water or a fire extinguisher to extinguish the fire; use foam, dry powder or carbon dioxide fire extinguisher for oil fire.

6. When electrical equipment such as steel cage winding machines catches fire, first cut off the power supply, and then put out the fire. Before the power is turned off, yellow sand can be used to suppress the flame or dry powder fire extinguisher, carbon dioxide fire extinguisher, and foam fire extinguisher cannot be used. Do not use water to extinguish fires.
