Working principle of pumps for concrete

The pumps for concrete squeeze the rubber tube when the roller is rolling, so that the rubber tube has the ability to absorb and output concrete, so as to achieve the purpose of conveying.

The drive shaft 8 drives the roller frame 2 and the three rollers 4 to rotate, and continuously squeezes the rubber hose 5 . The vacuum suction port 6 is connected to a vacuum pump. When working, the vacuum pump is continuously pumping air, causing negative pressure to be formed in the pump body I. The function of the backup roller 3 is to support and assist the quick recovery of the extruded hose, so as to improve the suction performance of the concrete.

If the pump is placed on the chassis of the car, and the boom-type placing boom, the bottom frame, the outrigger, the hopper, the water washing mechanism, etc. are set, it constitutes an extruded concrete pump truck. The general concrete output pressure is 1.8MPa, the discharge volume is 50m3/h, and the boom height is 16m.

Main structure of pumps for concrete

The structure of the concrete distribution pump truck is mainly composed of a special vehicle chassis, pumps for concrete, a mixer, a screen, a distribution device, a concrete distribution valve and outriggers.

(1) Concrete distribution valve

Concrete distribution valve is the key part of pumps for concrete, it should meet the functional requirements of smooth pumping, fast switching; effective sealing to prevent concrete overflow; small suction resistance.

(2) Concrete placing boom

Concrete placing boom is a rotatable, telescopic and foldable boom and conveying pipeline that conveys concrete within a certain range.

Commonly used booms have 3, 4 or 5 sections. It can be folded hydraulically and is generally made into a box-shaped boom structure. According to the different folding methods, it can generally be divided into roll folding and Z-shaped folding or a hybrid of the two folding methods.
